Where do our Index CFD prices come from?

Our Indices prices come from our Liquidity Provider(s). Our indices prices are a fair value estimate of the price in the underlying market (futures, indices, stocks etc) whilst accounting for factors such as their exposure and hedging requirements.

When are weekend financing costs applied?

Indices CFDs are subject to daily rollover fees from Monday through to Thursday. Three days CFD financing is applied to open positions on Friday to cover the weekend.

What are Indices CFDs?

Indices CFDs are a measurement of the price performance of a basket of stocks from a stock exchange. For example, the S&P 500 (US500) follows the 500 largest companies across the US Stock Exchanges.

What is the minimum lot size I can trade on indices?

0.10 lots except for US500, JPN 225 and HK50, these have a 1 lot minimum.

What are the Indices market hours?

The market hours for indices follows the underlying market from which they are based. For instance, US500 will follow the NYSE market hours whereas the ASX will follow the Australian market hours.

What is the value of one index point?

One index point is normally = to 1 unit of base currency. For instance, one index point of the UK100 is = to 1 GBP whereas 1 index point of the NAS100 is = to 1 USD.
